Welbeck Abbey (4 miles)
Welbeck Abbey is nestled in the heart of Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire and extends to some 15,000 acres. It sits within an area known as the Dukeries and gets this name from the four historic neighbouring ducal seats: Welbeck, Clumber, Thoresby and Worksop Manor. You can visit the Abbey with a tour of the State Rooms, go for a walk on the estate, visit the Garden Centre, Café, Farm Shop and even an art gallery, The Harley Gallery.

Hardwick Hall (5 miles)
is an architectural significant Elizabeth country house and estate perched on the top of a hill with amazing views, that was once home to ‘Bess of Hardwick’. Now part of the National Trust you can visit the house, go for a walk, visit the café, play area or visitor centre.

Edwinstowe: (11 miles) is a village and civil parish in the Newark and Sherwood district of Nottinghamshire, England, on the edge of Sherwood Forest. It is associated with the legends of Robin Hood and Maid Marian.
Matlock: park above M&S Food Hall - DE4 3AU (14 miles)
Matlock Bath: plenty of car parks and on road parking but massive queues to get in on Sunday & Bank Holidays especially when it’s sunny!
Bakewell: park in the agricultural centre DE45 1AH (17 miles) – market on a Monday so busier than normal as well as holidays and sunny days.
Shopping: Meadowhall! S9 1EP (30 mins drive)
